Staying Fresh

 

As a facilitator, coach or consultant, do you sometimes feel isolated in your practice, tired with your well used tools, stuck with particular situations and client issues?

Making a commitment to your own development is important if you are to stay fresh and skilled. As Action Learning Set facilitators we also know how powerful the approach can be for others – but how many of us are in Action Learning Sets for our own development?

Working collaboratively with other facilitators can be very beneficial and help to develop strong networks, share ideas and strengthen Action Learning as an approach and development tool.

Our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Sets are for facilitators, coaches and consultants who are:

  • experienced but wanting to fine tune their practice, test out new thinking and keep fresh with their facilitation
  • new to Action Learning or recently trained and want to build their confidence, skills and practice
  • curious to experience new ways of learning (for example through Virtual Action Learning)

What’s involved?

  • an initial, no commitment 3 hour  ‘give it a go’ session with up to 5 others to see if the group mix and approach works 
  • if the answer is yes, you sign up to meet for 6 sessions meeting approximately every 6 weeks
  • sets meet either virtually or face-to-face, your Set chooses
  • all sessions are facilitated by experienced Action Learning Set facilitators 
  • team agreements are made around confidentiality, commitment, dates and logistics

New CPD Sets start throughout the year according to interest and demand.
