Action Learning facilitator training

If you’re looking to become an action learning facilitator you’ve come to the right place!

We offer an exciting, packed programme which provides a comprehensive introduction to action learning and how to set up, manage and facilitate your own sets. The programme is built around participation in a set, so you’ll come away with a rounded experience of action learning as a set member, presenter and facilitator.

We offer two courses, a three day Essentials course and a four day ILM endorsed programme.

We are recognised providers of Action Learning Facilitation training with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) which means you can be assured of the quality of our programmes and have your learning recognised.

What are the training outcomes?

Upon successful completion of this 4-day programme, you’ll be able to:

  • set up and run action learning sets
  • describe the action learning process, theory and roles
  • explain and apply the action-learning principles
  • demonstrate the key skills of a learning-set facilitator
  • choose and apply appropriate interventions to manage the group process.

Who is this programme for?

Our programme is ideal if you’re responsible for supporting the learning and development of others and want to add to your portfolio of skill and tools. You may have an awareness of action learning, and possibly some experience of it, and now want to learn how to design and facilitate action learning programmes. However, awareness and experience are not essential. It’s designed for trainers, coaches, consultants, learning & development professionals, and those who work with groups, leadership and management development, or in human-resource management (HR).
